It’s that time of year again!!
We have been so fortunate for the past 5 years to have a great turn out for the Candy Buyback, we are excited to see what this year brings. All of the candy we bring in goes to a great organization, Operation Gratitude. Since 2003, Operation Gratitude has sent over 1 million care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. What a great way to help lift the spirits of our troops! (and a great way to disperse that candy!)
Here are the buyback details…
Parents, bring your children to Lisbon Smiles on Monday, November 3rd between 8 am and 6 pm. We will weigh the candy and for each pound we receive, your child will get $1 per pound, a special goody bag, and you will be entered in our drawing for a 5th generation iPod touch. It’s a win/win!!
